Prepare the parrot island on which the colorful parrot flock will fly. To do that place the round game board on the table and place the flock there. Each player takes 3 cards to his or her hand, and that’s where the game begins.
There is no turn order in the Parrot Island, all players act at the same time. First of all, each player chooses any card from his hand and places it face down on the table. When everyone is ready, flip all the played cards.
There are 3 cards in front of me by the end of turn, so I must discard one of them. Do I score a victory point or that?
No. You score points only when you exchange cards for points.
The more players in the game, the faster the flock of parrots will be moving. How does that affect the gameplay?
The chance that the flock will land on a specific board sector decreases. On the other hand, it’s easier to reach the sector too far away from the flock.
